FIA publiceert details over inperking rijdershulp

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details van het plan om de hulp aan rijders vanaf de pitmuur verder in te perken voor 2016. Dit weekend in België treden reeds scherpere richtlijnen voor de startprocedure in werking. De engineers mogen coureurs niet meer helpen bij het afstellen van de auto voor een ideale start. Voor de komende jaren heeft de FIA een groter pakket maatregelen.

Zo werkt de federatie voor 2017 toe naar een standaard koppeling, om het toezicht te versimpelen en de controle meer in handen van de coureur te leggen. De FIA onderzoekt daarnaast methoden om de telemetrie van de auto naar de pitmuur te limiteren. Niet-essentiële informatie zou bijvoorbeeld wel in de wagen opgeslagen kunnen worden, maar hoeven niet direct in real-time op de monitoren bij de engineers te verschijnen.

Boodschappen met de volgende onderwerpen zijn vanaf 2016 nog wel toegestaan. Elke communicatie van de pitmuur naar de rijder met een andere strekking wordt beschouwd als een overtreding van artikel 20.1:

- Het aangeven van een kritiek probleem met de auto, bijvoorbeeld een lekke band

- Het aangeven van een technisch probleem bij een auto van een tegenstander

- Instructies om de pits op te zoeken om de auto te repareren of uit de race te halen

- Informatie over vlaggen, eventuele uitgestelde starts en berichten van de wedstrijdleiding

- Het aangeven van een nat wegdek, of olie of rotzooi op de baan

- Instructies om van positie te wisselen met een andere rijder

- Bevestiging dat een boodschap van de coureur is ontvangen

- Ronde- of sectortijd in detail

- Details van een rondetijd van een tegenstander

- Gaten naar een tegenstander tijdens trainingen of de race

- 'Push hard', 'Push now', 'You are racing him' en dergelijke

- Waarschuwen voor verkeer tijdens trainingen of de race

- Verschillen aanduiden in de kwalificatie om een gat voor een snel rondje te creëren

- De bandenkeuze bij de volgende pitstop

- Het aantal ronden dat een tegenstander op een bepaald setje banden heeft afgelegd

- De compound waarop een tegenstander rijdt

- Informatie over mogelijke strategieën van een tegenstander

- Het raamwerk voor de safety car

- Overtredingen als afsnijden van de chicane van rijder zelf of een tegenstander

- Aangeven wanneer DRS is in- of uitgeschakeld.

- Afhandelen van een probleem met DRS

- Wissel van voorvleugel bij volgende pitstop

- Verlies van olie

- Wanneer de pits in te komen

- Herinnering om aan de witte lijn bij het uitrijden van de pits te denken

- Herinneren aan de limieten van de baan

- Doorspelen van informatie afkomstig van de wedstrijdleiding

- Informatie met betrekking tot schade aan de auto

- Het aantal resterende rondjes

- De volgorde van het testprogramma tijdens vrije trainingen

- Informatie over het weer

Ik vind dat er nog behoorlijk veel gecommuniceerd mag worden.
- Instructies om van positie te wisselen met een andere rijder;
- 'Push hard', 'Push now';
- Herinnering om aan de witte lijn bij het uitrijden van de pits te denken en
- Herinneren aan de limieten van de baan,
hadden wat mij betreft uit het lijstje mogen worden geschrapt.

  Push push vind ik wel iets hebben, vooral die daarna vind ik belachelijk... "herinneren aan de witte lijn bij het uitrijden van de pits"... Kom op, dat je je coureur daar zelfs aan moet herinneren..

Hoe wordt dit bestraft dan? Boetes of tijdstraf voor de coureur? Zal lekker zijn als je op een goede positie ligt en het team roept iets dat je niet mag horen..

Daar is ie weer "De engineers mogen coureurs niet meer helpen bij het afstellen van de auto voor een ideale start."

Dat doen ze nog steeds, alleen mag er niets meer aan die afstelling veranderd worden nadat de auto voor het eerst de garage verlaat op zondag.

Er valt dus letterlijk niets meer over te communiceren omdat ze er toch niets meer aan mogen veranderen.

  Er kunnen en mogen toch nog aanpassingen aan het diff etc gedaan worden? Alleen de bitepoint mag niet meer veranderd worden dus op de start opstelling kan de engineer nog genoeg zeggen

Was Hamilton toen der tijd ook niet in overtreding toen hij in Monaco zei "Hoe ligt Bocht 1 erbij" en toen zijn engineer zei dat hij daar geen comment op mocht geven dat hij maar naar het weer in Bocht 1 vroeg...

  Je zal waarschijnlijk ook Rosberg bedoelen. Die vroeg inderdaad steeds naar wat Hamilton deed en dan kreeg hij te horen dat ze hem dat niet mochten vertellen.

Alles via pitmuur doen en alle andere overbodig info valt dan vanzelf weg. Dan moeten de coureurs tenminste weer zelf denken. Als ik namelijk die hele lijst zie vraag ik me af wag die jongens nog zelf moeten doen? Teveel info is slecht, te voorspelbaar. Even offtopic, maar in het wielrennen hebben ze het ook al verbruid met de oortjes. Het is zo geen race meer, maar een communicatie wedstrijd.
