Minder smog voorspeld voor weekend in Singapore

De luchtkwaliteit in Singapore zal de komende dagen iets verbeteren ten opzichte van de voorbije dagen. Die voorspelling is afkomstig van de National Environment Agency in het stadstaatje. De organisatie van de Grand Prix houdt de ontwikkelingen scherp in de gaten.

Door hevige smog is de volksgezondheid en het zicht in Singapore al een paar dagen onderwerp van gesprek. De vooruitzichten zijn gunstig. De ernstigste smog is voorbij en de komende dagen neemt de dichtheid van de smog af, mede dankzij regenbuien in de namiddag.

Hoe het er vanochtend uitzag in Singapore is goed te zien op een foto die Red Bull Racing via Twitter de wereld in slingerde.
