Volkswagen wil niet reageren op Red Bull-geruchten

Volkswagen heeft verkondigd niet te willen reageren op de geruchten omtrent de overname van Red Bull Racing. BBC-analist verkondigde eerder deze week dat Volkswagen de handen vanaf 2018 ineen slaat met het Duitse concern, maar Volkswagen wil er voorlopig nog geen woorden aan vuil maken.

"Toon alstublieft begrip voor het feit dat wij niet deel nemen aan dit soort speculaties", aldus een woordvoerder van Volkswagen tegenover DPA. Volgens BBC-analist Eddie Jordan is de Volkswagen-groep dichtbij een overname van Red Bull en zal Audi als gepromote merk naar voren geschoven worden.
