McLaren verwelkomt Chandon als nieuwe sponsor

Het team van McLaren heeft een nieuwe sponsor aan zich gebonden. Het gaat om het wijnmerk Chandon, onderdeel van het concern Moët Hennessy. Het betreft een samenwerking voor de lange termijn en het logo van Chandon komt aan weerszijden van de neus te staan.

McLaren-baas Ron Dennis: "Het is extreem opwindend dat Moët Hennessy besloten heeft om zich met het merk Chandon aan McLaren-Honda te verbinden voor een langdurige samenwerking. McLaren en Chandon passen perfect bij elkaar, aangezien we allebei een passie hebben om te innoveren in wat we doen."

"Dat combineren we met een unieke stijl en benadering. Het is een voorrecht voor iedereen bij McLaren-Honda om de handen ineen te slaan met Chandon, een van de meest iconische merken uit het portfolio van Moët Hennessy."

      Tja niet zo gek aangezien Diageo (eigenaar van Johnnie Walker) ook belangen heeft in Moet & Chandon... en tja de champagne mag natuurlijk niet aangezien er al een champagne sponsor verbonden is aan de F1 podium ceremonie. (Krug geloof ik...?)
