Raceoverall Verstappen verkocht voor bijna 7000 dollar

De gesigneerde raceoverall van Max Verstappen heeft uiteindelijk 6.833 dollar opgebracht. Verstappen had zijn raceoverall op De Ebay aangeboden voor een veiling uit naam van de onlangs overleden Justin Wilson.

Het bedrag is niet zo hoog als dat het in eerste instantie leek te zijn. Op de veilingsite was een bod te zien van 25.000 dollar. Dit was echter geen serieus bod, waardoor het uiteindelijke bedrag fors lagen is.

De raceoverall van Lewis Hamilton heeft het meeste geld opgeleverd. De overall van de wereldkampioen leverde maar liefs 16.100 dollar op. De raceoverall van teamgenoot Nico Rosberg leverde 6.512 dollar op. Ook Calos Sainz Jr. stelde zijn raceoverall beschikbaar. Voor de overall van de Spanjaard is 2.285 dollar neergelegd.

Er zijn nog items van de Justin Wilson-veiling waar op geboden kan worden. Niet alleen items van Formule 1-coureurs, maar ook vanuit de IndyCar Series en andere raceklassen staan items ter veiling aangeboden. De veiling sluit op 26 oktober.

yes ik heb het hoogste bod uitgebracht;)

toch wel raar dat je op een veiling een bod kunt uitbrengen en daarna kunt zeggen dat het niet serieus was.
