Kubica: "Het is te vroeg om al met 2011 bezig te zijn"

Renault-coureur Robert Kubica laat zich niet verleiden tot uitspraken over zijn toekomst. De Pool is na dit seizoen vrij en in het geruchtencircuit valt zijn naam bij veel andere teams. Hij liet zich echter al enkele malen ontglippen dat hij het uitstekend naar zijn zin heeft bij Renault.

Kubica: Het is nog geen tijd om al met 2011 bezig te zijn. De tijd om te praten over een langer verblijf bij Renault of niet komt vanzelf. Voor mij is nu nog te vroeg. We zien wel. Zodra ik het gevoel krijg over wat ik moet beslissen, dan open ik de gesprekken.

Veel mensen zeiden dat het een slechte stap van me was om bij Renault aan de slag te gaan. Ik zou er verstandiger aan doen om bij Sauber te blijven. Ik denk dat ik blij kan zijn met hoe mijn keuze uitpakt. Hopelijk kan ik daar voor de toekomst weer op vertrouwen.
