Wel goed lezen he? Er staat dat Illien zegt dat Renault geen beroep op zijn kennis heeft gedaan betreffende de upgrade van de aandrijflijn. Renault niet, maar RB wellicht wel! Het positieve aan dit bericht is dat Illien de geruchten over een in eigen beheer verder te ontwikkelen motor van RB niet ontkend.

Het lijkt er op dat Renault "stiekem" de update voorstellen van Illien (Red Bull) heeft toegepast zonder de juiste rechten te bezitten.

Mocht de IP van de ideeën bij Illien liggen en hij weet blijkbaar niet zeker of Renault ze wel of niet heeft gebruikt, dan heeft hij voor hij de ideeën aan Renault presenteerde blijkbaar te weinig zekerheden ingebouwd welke hem controle mogelijkheden geven om te controleren dat zijn ideeën niet illegaal gebruikt zullen worden als ze niet contractueel zullen worden afgenomen. En dat is als het gaat om bescherming intellectueel eigendom en rond zulke bedragen zeer onwaarschijnlijk.

Zou zo stoer zijn als RedBull kampioen wordt met een eigen motor. Dikke neus dan naar Toto Wolff. Dit word mijn droom voor 2016.
