Hulkenberg stelt vijfde plaats constructeurstitel Force India veilig

Nico Hulkenberg is de Grand Prix van Brazilie knap als zesde geeindigd. De Duitser reed een enigszins onzichtbare race, maar haalde met zijn zesde positie wel acht punten binnen. Hiermee is Force India niet meer te achterhalen in het constructeurskampioenschap voor de concurrentie en is de vijfde positie een feit.

"Ik ben erg blij met mijn zesde positie en de vijfde plaats in het constructeurskampioenschap voor Force India", aldus Hulkenberg. "Het is het beste resultaat uit onze geschiedenis en het toont onze progressie aan. Deze vijfde plaats is het resultaat van hard werken en we mogen hier ontzettend trots op zijn."

"De race van vandaag was erg leuk. We moesten er hard voor werken want mijn start was niet zo goed, maar we konden goed omgaan met de banden en de pitsstops waren snel. Ik kijk nu alweer uit naar de race in Abu Dhabi en hopelijk kunnen we het seizoen daar op een positieve noot afsluiten."
