Oud Formule 1-coureur Ralf Schumacher is vanaf volgend jaar weer in een actieve rol te vinden op de circuits, Niet als coureur, maar als teambaas in de Formule 4. De broer van zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Michael Schumacher hing in 2012 zijn helm aan de wilgen en werd daarna aangesteld als mentor voor jonge coureurs bij Mercedes Benz. Schumacher wordt volgend jaar teambaas voor het HTP F4 Junior Team Ungar,

Het plan om een eigen team op te richten ontstond in overleg met Gerhard Ungar. Beide heren hebben de handen in een geslagen omdat ze beide al een tijdje rondliepen met het plan een eigen team op te zetten met als doel het ondersteunen en begeleiden van jonge coureurs. Schumacher over zijn keuze om teambaas te worden: "Ik heb altijd het plan gehad om een eigen raceteam op te richten. Dit jaar besloot ik samen met Gerhard Ungar om de stap te gaan wagen voor 2016. We debuteren in de Formule 4 volgend jaar, een uitstekende klasse voor jonge coureurs. Het doel is om onze werkzaamheden in de toekomst uit te gaan breiden naar andere klasses."

Jammer zo'n opmerking, terwijl het toch mooi is dat Ralph een team opstart.
Ik snap niet wat Michael hiermee te maken heeft.
