Williams mikt op dubbele puntenfinish voor Montreal

2010 is tot op heden nog niet het jaar van Williams. Acht punten na zeven races met de nieuwe puntentelling is niet veel. De Britse renstal heeft desalniettemin zin in de Grand Prix van Canada. Williams hoopt in Montreal voor het eerst dit jaar met beide auto's in de punten te eindigen.

Technisch directeur Sam Michael: Iedereen verheugt zich op Canada. Niet alleen gaat Montreal als stad volledig achter de Formule 1 staan als we langskomen, maar het circuit levert ook altijd een opwindende race op. Aerodynamische efficiëntie is belangrijk en daarom nemen we nieuwe vleugels mee om ons prestaties te optimaliseren. Het circuit is ook zwaar voor de remmen, waardoor we andere luchthappers voor de remmen monteren. Onze doelen voor Canada zijn de top tien halen in de kwalificatie en met beide wagens in de punten finishen.
