Komend weekend staan er slechts twee races op het programma. Echter, het zullen waarschijnlijk wel twee mooie races worden. De Formule 1 keert terug naar de straten van Montreal, het circuit dat altijd garant staat voor spektakel. Daarnaast wordt dit weekend in Frankrijk de beroemde 24-uur van Le Mans verreden.

Formule 1
Zoals gezegd keert de Formule 1 na een jaar afwezigheid terug naar Canada. Lewis Hamilton behaalde hier in 2007 zijn allereerste overwinning en Robert Kubica deed datzelfde een jaar later. Verder worden in Montreal altijd spectaculaire races gereden met vaak veel uitvallers. Ook 'The wall of Champions' bij het opkomen van het rechte stuk is vaak scherprechter geweest.

Kwalificatie & Race
Kwalificatie: zaterdag 12 juni, 19:00 - 20:00 uur
Race: zondag 13 juni, 18:00 uur

24-uur van Le Mans
De meest prestigieuze race, samen met de Grand Prix van Monaco en de Indy 500, zal komend weekend plaats vinden. In Frankrijk rijden 56 auto's verdeeld in vier klassen voor de hoofdprijzen. Er zullen enkele grote namen deelnemen bij de topteams van onder andere Peugeot en Audi, zoals Sebastien Bourdais, Alexander Wurz, Anthony Davidson, Olivier Panis en 'Mister Le Mans' Tom Kristensen.

Christijan Albers zal, net als in 2009, uitkomen voor Team Kolles samen met Oliver Jarvis en Christian Bakkerud. Ook Peter Kox, Xavier Maassen, Paul van Splunteren, Tom Coronel en Jeroen Bleekemolen zullen in deze beroemde race rijden.

Kwalificaties: donderdag 10 juni, 19:00 - 21:00 uur en 22:00 - 0:00 uur
Race: zaterdag 12 juni, 15:00 uur - zondag 13 juni, 15:00 uur

Voor de diverse uitzendingen, let goed op of het Eurosport of Eurosport 2 betreft. Het verschil is aan het logo te zien, maar ook door over het logo heen te gaan.
