Pirelli selecteert compounds voor Russische GP

Pirelli heeft de drie compounds die het beschikbaar stelt voor de Grand Prix van Rusland bekendgemaakt. De Italiaanse bandenfabrikant nomineerde de superzachte, zachte en medium banden voor het weekend op het circuit van Sotsji.

Die keuze komt overeen met de bandenselectie voor de eerste drie evenementen van 2016, Australië, Bahrein en China. De coureurs moeten in Rusland ook minstens één setje medium of één setje zacht gebruiken. Dat komt eveneens overeen met de richtlijnen voor de eerste drie Grands Prix.
