Meerderheid stemt op helm uit 2013 voor Button

McLaren-coureur Jenson Button grijpt voor dit seizoen terug op zijn helmdesign uit 2013. Dat is het resultaat van een poll die hij zijn Twitter-pagina uitschreef. De wereldkampioen van 2009 vroeg zijn fans om te kiezen tussen het ontwerp uit 2013 en het ontwerp uit 2015.

Een ruime meerderheid van de meer dan 36.000 stemmers koos voor het ontwerp uit 2013. Button volgt dat advies op, maar voegde er nog wel aan toe dat hij wat kleine aanpassingen voor 2016 zal doen. "Met jullie toestemming uiteraard."
