'Jagonya Ayam sponsor met Formule 1-potentie'

GP2-team Campos Racing kan zijn geluk niet op. De Spaanse renstal weet zich de komende twee jaar gesteund door Jagonya Ayam, de Indonesische tak van KFC. Een grote sponsor voor Campos, in ruil voor een stoeltje voor Sean Gelael.

Jagonya Ayam roert zich steeds meer in de wereld van de autosport. De afgelopen jaren sponsorde het bedrijf in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 en Antonio Giovinazzi dankt zijn overstap naar de GP2 ook aan de firma. Waar dit eindigt? Misschien wel in de Formule 1.

Adrian Campos kan niet uitsluiten dat Jagonya Ayam op termijn naar het hoogste niveau toe wil. "Het is een sponsor met Formule 1-potentie. Op dit moment willen ze bij ons in de GP2 zijn en daar zijn wij vanzelfsprekend heel blij mee", zegt hij in El Confidencial.
