Oud Formule 1-coureur Takuma Sato is vandaag jarig. De Japanner mag 39 kaarsjes op zijn verjaardagstaart uitblazen. Sato kwam tussen 2002 en 2008 uit voor teams als Jordan, BAR en Super Aguri. De teller bleef steken op negentig Grands Prix, waarin hij 44 punten scoorde. Tegenwoordig is hij actief in de IndyCar. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Sato.

Takuma blijft een geweldige vent. Zal nooit vergeten hoe hij in Canada met z'n Super Aguri Alonso in z'n Mclaren voorbij ging in de chicane. En hoe hij op weg was naar een Indy 500-zege en crashte in de laatste ronde. De held.
