Vasseur moet sturing geven aan F1-team Renault

De invulling van het management voor het fabrieksteam van Renault krijgt steeds meer gestalte. De Franse autofabrikant onthult op 3 februari in Parijs de plannen, maar de meeste posities in de directie zijn reeds ingevuld, zo laten bronnen weten.

Frederic Vasseur is de beoogde teambaas en moet sturing geven aan het team van Renault. Hij krijgt de functie-omschrijving racing director. De directieleden van Renault Sport F1 luisteren naar de namen Jerome Stoll, Cyril Abiteboul, Thierry Bollore en Patrice Ratti. Op het technische vlak zullen Bob Bell, Nick Chester, Remi Taffin en Alan Permane de verantwoordelijkheden dragen, terwijl oud-coureur Alain Prost een rol van ambassadeur op zich neemt.
