F1 stelt uiterlijk 29 februari regels voor 2017 vast

Uiterlijk 29 februari heeft de Formule 1 de Technische Reglementen voor volgend seizoen vorm gegeven. Die belofte deden de prominente figuren die bij de vergadering over de banden voor 2017 in het hoofdkwartier van Pirelli in Milaan aanwezig waren, zo meldt Autosport.

Afgelopen vrijdag was een bijeenkomst met de technische bazen van de teams en Charlie Whiting van de internationale autosportbond FIA nog op niks uitgelopen. De gesprekken bij Pirelli verliepen meer constructief. Bernie Ecclestone, FIA-president Jean Todt en Ferrari-president Sergio Marchionne waren van de partij.

Afgesproken is om voor het einde van deze maand de regels met betrekking tot 2017 te formuleren. De eerstvolgende vergaderingen van de Strategische Werkgroep en de Formule 1 Commissie staan voor 23 februari ingeroosterd in Genève.
