Renault in zee met voormalig Ferrari-engineer Dyer

Renault heeft Chris Dyer aangetrokken als hoofd voor de vehicle performance group. In die hoedanigheid is hij verantwoordelijk voor het werk aan wielophanging, remmen en simulatie. Het is een van de stappen die Renault heeft ondernomen om de organisatie te versterken.

Dyer begon zijn carrière in de Formule 1 bij Arrows en verhuisde na een paar jaar naar Ferrari, maar hij Michael Schumacher terzijde stond. In 2007 was hij ook de race-engineer van Kimi Raikkonen in diens kampioensjaar. Na de ontknoping van 2010 plaatste Ferrari hem op een GT-project, maar daar had hij het niet naar zijn zin en hij stapte op. Dyer keert nu met Renault terug in de wereld van de Formule 1.
