John Surtees viert vandaag zijn 82ste verjaardag

Oud-coureur John Surtees is vandaag jarig. De Brit heeft de leeftijd van 82 jaar bereikt. Surtees was een grootheid in de motorsport voordat hij naar de Formule 1 overstapte. Hij pakte vier wereldtitels in de 500cc-klasse op twee wielen. Met vier wielen stond hij ook zijn mannetje en in 1964 won hij het Formule 1-kampioenschap in een Ferrari. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Surtees.

Hij is niet de enige jarige vandaag. Roberto Moreno viert ook zijn verjaardag. Bij deze Braziliaan staan er 57 kaarsjes op de taart. Moreno verscheen 42 maal aan de start van een Grand Prix, al ondernam hij 77 pogingen om zich te kwalificeren. Hij reed voor teams als AGS, Lotus, EuroBrun, Coloni, Benetton en Minardi en hij scoorde vijftien punten. De felicitaties gaan uit naar de jarige Moreno.
