James Allison, de technisch directeur van Ferrari, heeft in een video van de Scuderia de filosofie achter de nieuwe SF16-H behandeld. De Brit, die dit jaar niet naar alle races af zal reizen, spreekt van een gewaagd concept. Ferrari veranderde onder meer de neus, de voorwielophanging, de wielbasis en de achterkant van de auto.
