Keert Sauber de lonen in maart wel op tijd uit?

Sauber-teambaas Monisha Kaltenborn is hoopvol gestemd dat haar werknemers deze maand wel 'gewoon' op tijd het salaris op hun rekening gestort krijgen. In februari ging dat niet helemaal goed, de Zwitserse renstal moest het uitkeren van de lonen uitstellen tot vorige week.

Kaltenborn hoopt in maart niet op een herhaling van zetten. Aan Sonntagsblick liet ze weten: "Ik betreur de ontstane situatie en ik hoop echt dat we niemand in de problemen gebracht hebben. De betaling van de salarissen deze maand zou gewoon op het normale moment plaats moeten vinden."

Dat neemt niet weg dat de financiële situatie van Sauber penibel is. Het team speurt met man en macht naar een titelsponsor. "Maar dat is extreem moeilijk. Zelfs teams als McLaren slagen er niet in om een grote sponsor aan zich te binden", aldus Kaltenborn.

    Tuurlijk vindt je nooit een grote sponsor als afgelopen seizoen zeer pijnlijk zichtbaar is geworden dat Sauber onbetrouwbaar is en belachelijk om gaat met personen die een contract hebben........

      denk dat ze op een titelsponsor doelt, iets wat mclaren niet heeft op dit moment.
      laatste titelsponsor van mclaren was vodafone. williams en mercedes hebben bijvoorbeeld wel weer een titelsponsor

      Bovendien zit McLaren in eendere situatie. Die kunnen echt weleen sponsor vinden, maar om titelsponsor te worden, moet je gewoon zwaar betalen. Dat hebben ze meermaals aangegeven. Zeelijven gewoon bij hun eigen principes. Wil je titelsponsor worden? Dat kan! Maar niet voor een schoenendoos vol tientjes. Zolang niemand wil dokken, redden ze het gewoon zonder én betalen ze wel keurig de salarissen uit.

    Haas is erbij. Genoeg auto's dus. Dat was de reden dat Oom Bernie vorig jaar financieel heeft bijgesprongen. Hij moest genoeg auto's op de startgrid hebben.
    Dus Bye bye Sauber....

    Vorige week melde mevrouw nog dat er een nieuw grote sponsor was binnengehaald en dat er alleen problemen waren in het internationale betalingsverkeer waardoor het langer duurde eer de centen binnen waren. Was dus ook weer lulkoek... het kan wel eens snel afgelopen zijn met Sauber heb ik het gevoel.

      Volgens mij ging het erom om sponsorgeld van bestaande sponsoren en dat ze in gesprek waren met een potentiele titelsponsor. En omdat sponsoren vaak per GP uitbetalen het probleem van tijdelijke duur zou zijn, immers we gaan eer racen. Maar je kan gelijk hebben...

      Maatgoed, er is sowieso teveel haat vanwege Van der Garde die liever voor het geld koos dan te vechten voor het stoeltje en natuurlijk omdat Sauber Frijns een kans heeft gegeven.

    Verschil is dat McLaren te arrogant is om een titelsponsor aan te wijzen. Die willen, terwijl ze vorig jaar bijna achteraan rijden, een sponsor die niet zou misstaan bij Ferrari/Mercedes/Red Bull. Dat wordt hem dus even niet, komt wel weer als de prestaties ook beter worden.

    Bij Sauber is er waarschijnlijk gewoon echt geen grote sponsor die het avontuur aandurft, wat ik me wel kan voorstellen gezien de situatie.

    Het gaat lekker daar. Zojuist werd bekend:

    16:55 – Vlak voor de start van het nieuwe seizoen is Sauber F1 een belangrijke pion binnen het team kwijtgeraakt. Mark Smith, de technisch directeur, heeft de Zwitserse renstal per direct verlaten.

    Is ff kijken, we zijn weer in Australie, vorig jaar wilde een bepaald persoon geld van Sauber dus rechtzaak. Ik meen me te herinneren dat er nog een ander persoon was die ook nog geld kreeg. Nou weet ik dat die een deal heeft met Sauber maar is er ooit betaald? Zo niet dan nu weer..................... :-)
