Twee DRS-zones op Albert Park voor Australië 2016

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details prijs gegeven voor het gebruik van het Drag Reduction System tijdens de Grand Prix van Australië van dit weekend. Net als vorig jaar bevat het circuit van Albert Park twee DRS-zones, met één detectiepunt.

Het enige detectiepunt bevindt zich dertien meter voor bocht 14. De eerste DRS-zone begint dertig meter na bocht 16 en strekt zich uit over het rechte stuk van start en finish. Vervolgens is de beweegbare achtervleugel ook 32 meter na bocht 2 op weg naar bocht 3 te activeren.
