Twee DRS-zones op Sakhir voor Bahrein 2016

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details aangekondigd voor het gebruik van het Drag Reduction System tijdens de Grand Prix van Bahrein van komend weekend. Het circuit van Sakhir wordt uitgerust twee DRS-zones, met ieder een apart detectiepunt.

Het eerste meetpunt ligt in voor bocht 9, waarna de beweegbare achtervleugel na bocht 10 te activeren is. Het tweede detectiepunt bevindt zich voor bocht 14. De tweede DRS-zone begint net voorbij de pitsingang en strekt zich uit over het rechte stuk van start en finish. Daar is ten opzichte van vorig jaar niets aan veranderd.
