Gedwongen vertrek Dell'Orto gunstig voor Monza

Er zijn deze weken volop ontwikkelingen rondom het circuit van Monza. Bernie Ecclestone kon niet door één deur met enkele personen binnen Sias, de beheerder van de baan. Die mensen moeten nu een voor een wijken om een nieuw Formule 1-contract mogelijk te maken.

Oud-coureur Ivan Capelli stapte uit eigen beweging op als directeur bij Sias en voorzitter Andrea Dell'Orto lijkt de volgende die plaats moet maken. Al wilde hij daar eerst nog niks van weten. "Ik weiger mijn post te verlaten."

Autosprint bericht dat Dell'Orto binnen enkele dagen gedwongen wordt om alsnog te vertrekken. Dat zou positief zijn voor de onderhandelingen tussen Monza en Ecclestone. Autosprint anticipeert op een nieuwe overeenkomst voor de Italiaanse Grand Prix in de eerste dagen van mei.

      Enig idee welke idiote eisen Bernie Eikelstone stelt en hoeveel geld hij er voor wil zien?? Die kl**tz*k maakt alle historische races kapot in ruil voor die achterlijke Hermann Tilke banen .. Spa idem! Duitsland niet anders.. alles moet wijken voor Bernie .. het wordt tijd dat Bernie eens opdondert!! Ivan Capelli is een oud-racer en italiaan, Dell'Orto is ook een klinkende naam in Italië .. dit is hetzelfde als tegen Jan Lammers zeggen dat ie weg moet als hij bij Zandvoort in het bestuur zou zitten en Bernie daar met onderhandelingen bezig was (if only ..). Zou je dan willen dat Jan opstapt omdat Bernie dat zegt???

    Belachelijk dat een directie van een circuit moet vertrekken omdat meneer Ecclestone niet met ze door één deur kan.

    Vind dan een kamer met twee deuren of doe het buiten...

      Ho ho ho, zo ver terug in de tijd hoef je niet eens. Zelfs anno 2016 zitten ze nog op nieuwe brommertjes ^^
      Misschien dat vriend Andrea na het gedwongen vertrek toch weer terug zal moeten naar zijn roots ;)

    Ik zou het niet durven inbeelden F1 zonder Monza, Bernie weet dat deze op de kalender MOET blijven, anders verliest zijn circus alle kredibiliteit bij de fans

      Hij had geen probleem met andere "legendarische" circuits dus....

      Ik vind Monza overigens alleen in naam legendarisch.

    Het zou echt een enorme treurige dag zijn wanneer Monza niet meer op de kalender staat. Net nu er een beetje momentum lijkt te onstaan voor circuits van weleer (terugkeer van GP van Oosterijk, Mexico, en zelfs de dagdromen van Zandvoort en Kyalami etc.) zal het verdwijnen van Monza echt een gigantische domper zijn, en andermaal een signaal dat F1 het contact met haar fans steeds verder kwijtraakt.

    Helaas is het hele verhaal rondom Monza doorspekt met ego's en politiek. Het is wat Wolff al aangaf een paar dagen geleden. F1 is 90% politiek geworden, en 10% sport. Hoewel de heer Wolff zelf een grote bijdrage levert aan die verhouding met o.a. het zoveel mogelijk dwarsbomen van veranderingen die de sport goed kunnen doen, lijkt hij wel de spijker op de lop te slaan.

    Ik hoop dat er binnenkort weer eens wat wijze beslissingen worden genomen. De nieuwe motor en de dreigende Halo hebben voor mij F1 echt veel minder aantrekkelijk gemaakt. Als ze nou ook Monza van de kalender gaan halen....
    Als Diehard van zou ik mijn favoriete sport niet zo snel afvallen, maar ze zijn hard bezig om F1 te vervreemden van haar oorspronkelijke fanbase.

      Ik denk dat Ecclestone net zo lang trekt tot het draadje breekt. Het is tijd dat er een zegt dat het niet haalbaar is. Je kunt wel zeggen dat de F1 voor een circuit een mooi uithangbord is maar er moet toch ook geld in het laatje komen.

      Jammer dat despoten wel die bedragen willen neertellen...
