Rosberg nog vol vertrouwen in succesvol seizoen

Nico Rosberg denkt dat Mercedes GP nog steeds een succesvol seizoen tegemoet gaat, ondanks het zeer teleurstellende optreden tijdens de Europese Grand Prix tot nu toe.

Mercedes kwam met een update naar Valencia, maar Rosberg en Michael Schumacher hebben nog steeds problemen met de banden. Op dit moment lijkt het erop dat Mercedes GP niet meer meedoet om het kampioenschap, maar Rosberg denkt dat als ze de banden onder controle hebben dat het er vooraan het veld heel anders uit gaat zien.

De titel is nog niet verloren, begint Rosberg. We zijn nog niet eens halverwege en ik heb maar 30 punten achterstand op de kampioenschapleiders. Er zijn nog een hele boel verschillende races te gaan, waaronder Monza die heel anders is dan alle andere Grands Prix.

Als we de banden onder controle krijgen denk ik dat wij veel verder naar voren zullen staan. En we staan niet eens zo heel ver achter dus alles is nog mogelijk. We hebben gewoon niet de grip die je zou verwachten. Daardoor ondervinden we ook niet of de upgrade het goed doet, vervolgt Rosberg.

Rosberg is erg verrast dat de kwalificatie zo slecht verliep. Rosberg kwalificeerde zich op de twaalfde plaats, Schumacher slechts als vijftiende. Vrijdag verliep uitstekend. Eerste en vierde in de trainingen, en dat met veel brandstof aan boord. We waren dus echt snel. Daarom is het zo vreemd dat we nu zelfs achter het Williams duo en een Toro Rosso staan. Dat kwam wel aan als een verrassing, besluit Rosberg.

Show it to me!! Kan niet wachten tot ze weer eens vooraan staan en het de rest eindelijk eens echt moeilijk gaan maken.

Ik ben bang dat het al te laat is en dat zij beter op volgend jaar kunnen richten.
De achter stand word met de 2 weken groter
