Hamilton: "Ferrari is echt zo sterk op dit circuit"

Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton is onder de indruk van de snelheid van de beide Ferrari's. In de tweede vrije training ter voorbereiding op de Grand Prix van China waren beide Ferrari's sneller dan het duo van Mercedes. Hamilton verwacht nog een hele kluif te krijgen dit weekend om op het podium te komen, zeker nadat voor aanvang van de trainingen bekend werd dat de Brit een gridstraf van vijf plaatsen krijgt vanwege een versnellingsbakwissel.

Hamilton over de snelheid van Ferrari: "Ik denk dat Ferrari het ons hier erg lastig gaat maken. Qua snelheid zitten we achter ze en voor mij wordt het door mijn straf een inhaalrace. Omdat Ferrari zo sterk lijkt te zijn zal het voor mij lastig worden om ze in te halen. Het lijkt erop dat Ferrari verslaan op dit circuit wel eens een zware klus kan gaan worden."
