Rosberg weet dat zegereeks niet oneindig duurt

Mercedes-coureur Nico Rosberg heeft een uitstekende serie neergezet. Na de laatste drie races van 2015 heeft hij ook de eerste drie Grands Prix van 2016 op zijn naam geschreven. De Duitser is in de winning mood. De vraag is niet of er een keer een einde aan komt, maar wanneer.

Dat beseft Rosberg zelf dondersgoed. Aan Welt am Sonntag deelde hij mede: "Ik probeer het gewoon allemaal in me op te nemen en van elk moment te genieten. Ik heb nooit eerder in mijn carrière zoveel plezier aan het racen beleefd als nu."

"Ik kijk er niet naar uit, maar ik weet dat er op een dag een einde komt aan deze serie. Niets duurt oneindig. Het belangrijkste is dat ik gelukkig ben. De auto is geweldig en thuis heb ik een fantastische vrouw en een gezond kindje. Daar ben ik alleen maar dankbaar voor."

Nog nooit zoveel plezier in het racen? Rosberg, houd jij niet van duels? Nu rij je onbedreigd weg naar de zege.. tuurlijk is winnen leuk maar toch niet met 2 vingers in je neus?

    Tja maar een WK kampioenschap zou het helemaal afmaken, toch? Kun je lekker met pensioen en van de familie genieten!

      Inderdaad. Het feit dat hij dit nu zegt, laat zien dat er een beetje onzekerheid toeslaat bij hem. De vraag "hoe lang gaat dit goed?" zit hem een beetje in de weg. Blijkbaar zitten de afgelopen kampioenschappen van Lewis behoorlijk in zijn hoofd... Toch zou ik het hem wel gunnen als hij het dit jaar wel weet te winnen.

      IK neem aan dat hij best wel weet dat Hamilton een slechte start heeft gemaakt, en daarna sterk kan terug komen, Hamilton heeft dit al eerder bij hem geflikt, en dat zal hij heus niet zijn vergeten.

      En hij realiseert zich denkelijk drommels goed dat hij voornamelijk de laaste races heeft gewonnen door de pech die Hamilton nu eens parten speelt, iets wat hem vorig jaar regelmatig is overkomen.

      Maar toch hoop ik stiekum toch wel dat Rosberg dit jaar te titel pakt, al is het om Hamilton op scherp te stellen voor 2017

      Wat een onzin kramen jullie uit zeg! Dus omdat hij wel in de gaten heeft dat hij dit jaar niet alle races zal winnen is het een onzekere Klaas? Lijkt me toch vrij logisch. Als ie zou zeggen dat hij alle races dit jaar ging winnen zou het een arrogant kwast zijn zeker?
      Ik vind het toch wel heel goedkoop om zijn overwinningen alleen toe te schrijven aan pech van Hamilton. Tuurlijk, het is wel handig als je grootste concurrent uitvalt, maar je moet het dan nog steeds wel even doen he.

      nee, Zijn bankrekening word stukke dikker als hij aan het einde van het jaar de meeste punten heb! dus hij wilt liever veilig winnen...
