Pirelli verwacht eenstoppers

In de lange runs op vrijdag op het Sochi Autodrom bleek al dat de banden weinig slijtage vertonen op het gladde asfalt. Pirelli liet op vrijdagmorgen weten eenstoppers te verwachten en na de kwalificatie werd dit beeld nogmaals bevestigd. Een tweestopper levert volgens Pirelli het risico op dat je als coureur in verkeer terecht komt en teveel tijd verliest.

"We verwachten dat de voorkeur uit gaat naar een stop. Het is hier geen probleem om lange runs te rijden op alle bandentypes. De prestaties van de banden over langere runs zijn erg constant. Bovendien verwachten we niemand op de medium compound", aldus Paul Hembery van Pirelli. 

Volgens Pirelli maakt het niet veel uit of er gestart wordt op de soft compound of op de supersoft compound. Coureurs op supersofts worden binnen verwacht in ronde achttien en dan te wisselen naar de zachte banden. Coureurs die op de zachte banden starten zullen rond ronde 35 de stop maken om de race uit te rijden op de superzachte band. Coureurs die wel voor de tweestopsstrategie gaan worden binnen verwacht in ronde twaalf en ronde 32.

      Neem eens een kijkje op cricfree punt sx... het lijkt een rare site zo op het oog, maar ik kan er altijd een goede Sky stream vinden, met een beetje mazzel plaatsen ze er ook een Ziggo Stream.
