Jenson Button draait al aardig wat jaren mee in de Formule 1. Sinds 2000 maakt de Brit onafgebroken onderdeel uit van de koningsklasse van de autosport. Button maakte in 2000 zijn debuut bij Williams en stapte na een uitstapje van twee jaar bij Benetton / Renault over naar BAR.

Tijdens de derde vrije training ter voorbereiding op de Grand Prix van Monaco in 2003 crashte Button zwaar bij het uitkomen van de tunnel. Button kwam er zonder kleerscheuren vanaf, maar zijn auto was dusdanig beschadigd dat het niet mogelijk was om de kwalificatie en de race te rijden.

Dus omdat er zwaardere crashes zijn geweest, hoeft deze geen aandacht te krijgen? En we mogen nooit terug kijken op oude momenten in de Formule 1? Beetje rare reactie dit
