Lotus F1 Racing richt zich na Silverstone volledig op nieuwe auto

Het team van Lotus F1 Racing introduceert komend weekend de laatste grote upgrade van dit seizoen. Na de Britse Grand Prix gaat de focus volledig op de bolide voor volgend seizoen. Technisch directeur Mike Gascoyne: Het ontwerpteam richt zich na deze race compleet op de auto voor 2011.

Maar eerst nog de race op Silverstone, waarvoor Lotus F1 Racing een aardig pakket vernieuwingen meebrengt. We zijn op zoek naar een nieuwe stap voorwaarts, dit pakket stelt ons hopelijk in staat om de teams voor ons te bekampen. We hebben enkele onderdelen lichter gemaakt zodat de coureurs meer mogelijkheden hebben voor de balans van de T127. We hebben ook wat aerodynamische aanpassingen, waaronder een nieuwe bodemplaat en andere updates voor het bodywork, aldus Gascoyne.
