Hamilton niet tevreden met rol als jager in kampioenschap

Lewis Hamilton is alles behalve tevreden met zijn tweede plaats in het kampioenschap. De Brit werd tijdens de start van het seizoen geteisterd door betrouwbaarheidsproblemen en de crash in Spanje deed zijn titelaspiraties ook geen goed. Hamilton moet op jacht naar Rosberg en die rol bevalt hem allerminst.

"Het is veel gemakkelijker om het kampioenschap te leiden", aldus Hamilton. "Je hebt het voordeel en dus een comfortabele buffer. Ik heb nu geen enkel voordeel of een buffer. Ik moet hard werken. Ik houd me niet bezig met 'wat als-situaties', ik focus me op het hier en nu."

Hamilton kijkt op dit moment tegen een achterstand van 43 punten aan ten opzichte van Rosberg. De kans dat de Brit dus naast een derde titel op rij vist, is zeker aanwezig. Hamilton houdt rekening met dat scenario. "Als dat gebeurt, dan is het zo. Zo niet, dan niet. Er komen nog genoeg kansen en we hebben nog zestien races te gaan. Ik blijf positief."

      @alonso fan : Hij moet jou ook niet en ik ben het met DH eens dat het gehaat wel eens afgelopen mag zijn. Ik zie de meeste reacties van mensen die tegen hem zijn als reacties van meelopers met de massa. Neen niet de coureur Massa

      Nee, rellen in de nachtclub was niet handig van Lewis. Niet te geloven dat hij dat heeft gedaan! En dan zit hij dit weekend ook niet eens in de auto, vanwege zijn eigen gekloot, zo meldt dezelfde betrouwbare bron.

      Lol hammie fans gaan ook al huilie huilie doen. Feit is dat hammie na het behalen van z'n 3e titel gewoon prut presteert. En ja ik heb respect voor de beste man want als hij goed is is hij echt goed. Echter z'n hele popie Jopie gedrag er om heen, en als het niet goed gaat klagen(McLaren tijd) maakt het niet mijn favoriete coureur.

    Leedvermaak.

    Volgens mij maakt de buiten wereld zich meer druk over het wk dan Lewis zelf, hij heeft zijn doel bereikt, 3 x wk worden en de rest is bonus.
    Tot nu toe zit het tegen maar de goede tijden komen wel weer en het geluk zal ook niet altijd aan de zijnde van nico zijn.

    Ps. Als Lewis fan vind ik ook dat hij te veel buiten de baan de slag is.
    Het is makkelijk zeggen dat op de baan telt en niet buiten de baan maar menig grote sporten zegt dat focus, rust en intensief met je sport bezig zijn net dat klein beetje extra oplevert wat het verschil kan maken.

    Als ik een sponsor van Hamilton of Mercedes was, dan trapte ik hem een flink onder zijn kloten. Iedere keer die chagrijnige blik van hem komt mij een beetje de strot uit. Het is de enige coureur die er zo iedere keer bij staat. Ik snap dat hij eerste wil zijn, dat hij competatief is, maar hij heeft ook verplichtingen tegenover zijn sponsors enz. Iedere keer weer die chagrijnige blik is gewoon niet nodig, lijkt wel een berwend kind!

    Dat haperen van de motor bij aanvang van Q3 was weer een voorteken. Het is werkelijk ongekend dat er telkens iets aan de hand is met Lewis' auto en nooit met die van Nico.
    Statistisch gezien wordt het met de dag onwaarschijnlijker, zoveel malheur.
