Nobert Haug heeft recent een bezoek gebracht aan Kimi Raikkonen in diens woning in Zwitserland. De Duitser, in dienst van Mercedes GP, bevestigde dit vrijdag in Silverstone. Volgens Haug ging het gesprek echter niet over Raikkonen's toekomst.

"Ik heb inderdaad nog contact met Kimi als een vriend", vertelde Haug. "We hebben het niet over zijn toekomst gehad, want hij moet de beslissing toch zelf maken. Ik hoop echter wel dat hij terugkeert naar de Formule 1, want dat zou goed zijn voor de sport."
