Pirelli kiest zachtste compounds voor Singapore

Pirelli heeft de drie beschikbare compounds voor de Grand Prix van Singapore bekendgemaakt. Zoals verwacht heeft de Italiaanse bandenfabrikant de zachtste banden uit het assortiment geselecteerd voor het weekend op het stratencircuit, namelijk ultrazacht, superzacht en zacht.

Van elke compound is één setje verplicht gereserveerd; van de zachtste compound voor Q3 en van de twee hardste compounds voor de race. De teams en coureurs mogen zelf bepalen hoe ze de overige tien setjes invullen. In de week na de Italiaanse Grand Prix zal naar buiten gebracht worden welke keuzes ze gemaakt hebben.

Eens. De zachtste compound die 40+ ronden meegaat. Enige verklaring die ik heb is de lage temperaturen die er in Monaco waren.

Zie liever een band die veel sneller is dan de rest, en daarbij ook snel slijt. Doe maar weer eens een 3-stopper of zo.
