Jose Maria Lopez aast op Formule 1-debuut in 2011

Jose Maria Lopez was zo blij als een kind toen hij vorig jaar een contract tekende bij US F1, hij zou in 2010 debuteren in de Formule 1. Het liep anders. Het Amerikaanse Formule 1-project klapte in elkaar en Lopez bleef met lege handen achter.

De Argentijn heeft zich herpakt en wil nu volgend seizoen tot de Formule 1 toetreden. Lopez en zijn manager Victor Rosso liepen in Silverstone door de paddock. De krant El Diario Hoy meldt dat het duo de mogelijkheden voor een stoeltje aftastte en besprekingen had met Renault, Hispania Racing, Virgin Racing, Lotus F1 Racing, Williams en Sauber.
