Ricciardo blij dat contractduur gecommuniceerd is

Daniel Ricciardo is blij dat het hoge woord dat hij in elk geval tot en met 2018 vastligt bij Red Bull Racing eruit is. De Australiër zou in de belangstelling van Ferrari hebben gestaan en men ging ervan uit dat zijn verbintenis tot eind 2016 zou lopen. Daar is nog twee jaar aan vastgeplakt.

Ricciardo voelt het vertrouwen vanuit Red Bull. "Het is heel discreet naar buiten gebracht. Helmut Marko en Christian Horner hebben er wat over gezegd. Dat is goed, het betekent dat Helmut me wel mag. Dat is soms lastig te zeggen! Het team is zeer te spreken over de huidige line-up, bestaande uit Max Verstappen en ik. Het ziet er vrij stabiel uit voor de komende jaren."

Red Bull Racing is het enige team waarvan de line-up voor 2017 (en 2018) al rond is. Ferrari moet beslissen over het lot van Kimi Raikkonen, Nico Rosberg heeft een aanbieding van Mercedes in beraad, bij Williams lopen de contracten van beide rijders af en McLaren-Honda staat voor de keuze tussen routinier Jenson Button of aanstormend talent Stoffel Vandoorne.

Ik begrijp nooit goed waarom iedereen DR zo'n sympathieke gozer vindt. Omdat hij zo vriendelijk lacht? Ik vind hem arrogant met verwende trekjes. Openlijke kritiek op alles en iedereen.     Zal me benieuwen hoe ric zich houd nu hij behoorlijk tegengas krijgt van een teamgenoot heeft hij eigenlijk nooit gehad was duidelijk de beste in het team tov Vettel en kvyat

    Ik denk dat we heel snel een ander beeld over hem gaan vormen met de druk die Max hem oplegt.

      Zeer recentelijk heeft Ricciardo Max nog complimenten gegeven , dat Max bijvoorbeeld een hele goede snelle coureur is en hij blij was dat Max zijn teamgenoot is bij Red Bull.

      Dus ik snap jouw reactie niet helemaal..

      Wat moet hij dan zeggen als hij in 2 van de 3 races slechter presteert? Juist dat hij zeg dat het voor hem goed is dat Max er is vind ik vreemd. Is een miljoenensalaris en de eer om in de F1 te rijden niet genoeg om het uiterste hit jezelf te halen?

      Ik bedoel te zeggen dat als een journalist vraagt naar de overwinning van Max in Spanje dat je dan moeilijk niets kunt zeggen. En aangezien zelfs iemand met 2 glazen ogen nog kan zien dat Max uitzonderlijk snel is zou hij er niet veel geloogwaardiger op worden dat te ontkennen.

      Ik kan de visie van WhoIsTheBoss wel begrijpen.

      Laten we eerlijk zijn DR heeft niet echt veel concurrentie gehad tot heden. Natuurlijk was het verslaan van Vettel een goede prestatie, maar Vettel was toen al meer met Ferrari bezig leek het.

      We gaan het zien de komende maanden. Als Max structureel sneller blijkt te zijn zouden we wel eens een heel andere DR kunnen gaan zien.

      In Spanje Had DR ook een kans om te winnen. Voor deze gasten telt alleen de 1e plaats. Ik vind het wel mooi hoe hij reageert. Teminste niet zo'n standaart verkoop praatje zoals er vele doen!

      WHOISTHEBOSS Ik begrijp jouw reactie goed! We moeten nu maar is gaan zien of DR ook zo goed lachs blijft met Verstappen naast zich! Dat DR Vettel versloeg was in het eerste jaar dat Vettel van de V8 naar de V6 ging en daar had Vettel moeite mee. Het jaar daarop ging Vettel naar Ferrari, maar Vettel was wel al 4x Wereld Kampioen met Mark W naast zich, en dat was ook niet de minste! Nu heeft DR een jong ventje naast zich die nu nog niets te verliezen heeft en hij wel! Dus laten we dit jaar ff afwachten hoe DR zich gedraagt! Volgend jaar is Max hem denk ik ook in Qualy sneller als DR.

      Bij sommige mensen kunnen coureurs beter niets zeggen , geen complimenten geven , helemaal niets.
      Ricciardo is in mijn ogen een echt toppertje , die niet alleen vaak goedlachs is , maar wel degelijk heel vaak positief is over alles en iedereen , over Max , over het circuit van Canada , etc etc , sommigen verwachten dat Ricciardo nog blijft lachen als je de overwinning in Monaco wordt afgepakt...
