De dag van de eerste zege in F1 van James Hunt

Het is vandaag exact 41 jaar geleden dat James Hunt zijn eerste overwinning in de Formule 1 boekte. De Brit zegevierde in de Grand Prix van Nederland 1975 voor het eerst op het hoogste niveau. Er volgden daarna nog negen overwinningen in de koningsklasse van de Formule 1. In 1976 veroverde Hunt zijn eerste en enige wereldtitel. In 1993 overleed de Brit aan de gevolgen van een hartaanval. Hunt werd slechts 45 jaar.
