Raikkonen stapt 5 augustus in het huwelijksbootje

Ferrari-coureur Kimi Raikkonen gaat trouwen. Spaanse en Italiaanse media melden dat de Fin op 5 augustus in het huwelijk treedt met zijn partner Minttu. Zij kondigde in december al aan dat een trouwerij in de planning stond voor deze zomer.

Op 5 augustus is het dan zover. De ceremonie voltrekt zich in Siena, Italië. Het betreft een zeer besloten huwelijksfeest. Raikkonen heeft teamgenoot en vriend Sebastian Vettel niet eens uitgenodigd. Kimi en Minttu zijn al zeventien maanden ouders van zoontje Robin.

Hij heeft anderhalf jaar geleden ook een kindje gekregen, en hij is er nog steeds.

Daarnaast is trouwen niet een ''andere richting aan je leven geven'' als je F1 coureur bent.. ieder jaar trouwt er zowat wel een coureur.
