Verbeterde versie 'halo' kan Vettel nog niet bekoren

Sebastian Vettel testte gisteren tijdens de eerste vrije training op het circuit van Silverstone met een verbeterde versie van de halo. De halo moet de coureurs meer bescherming aan het hoofd bieden in het geval van een crash of rondvliegende delen. Sebastian Vettel is nog niet heel enthousiast over het nieuwe ontwerp.

In de winter reed Ferrari ook al even met de halo. Kimi Raikkonen wilde het ding zo snel mogelijk van zijn auto, terwijl Vettel toen nog enthousiast was. "De halo heeft best wel wat invloed op je zicht. We moeten het nog verder verbeteren, maar dit was nog maar een standaardtest", aldus Vettel.

Ook de niet verbeterde versie van de HALO kon ons al niet bekoren. Het is niks, en het blijft niks.
