Williams verwacht spektakel op Hockenheim dankzij banden

Williams-technisch directeur Sam Michael verheugt zich al op de Grand Prix van Duitsland van aanstaande zondag. De Brit is vooral benieuwd hoe het racen zich zal ontvouwen nu Bridgestone voor het eerst twee stappen tussen de beschikbare bandencompounds laat.

Michael verwacht er veel van. Het zal goed zijn voor het racen. Het is mogelijk dat rijders meer dan één stop maken. Dat was op andere circuits al zo, dus hier is dat zeker een optie. Dit heeft alle potentie om dingen door elkaar te gooien. Blaren hebben we al lang niet gezien op de Bridgestones, dus zo ver komt het vermoedelijk niet, maar het wordt ongetwijfeld interessant, aldus de technisch directeur van Williams tegenover Autosport.
