Zware klap voor Marcus Ericsson in VT3

Sauber-coureur Marcus Ericsson is er zojuist hard afgegaan in de derde vrije training op het circuit van Silverstone. De Zweed verloor de auto bij het uitkomen van Stowe en klapte hard in de bandenstapels. De auto raakte zwaar beschadigd, maar gelukkig kon de Zweed ongedeerd uitstappen.

Door de klap van Ericsson werd de sessie stil gelegd. Door de klap vloog het stuur van het stuurhuis af. Doktoren checkten de coureur op het circuit en het lijkt erop dat Ericsson er zonder kleerscheuren van af is gekomen.Het ziet er naar uit dat Ericcson de kwalificatie gaat missen.
