Ferrari zoekt naar oplossing voor fragiele versnellingsbak

Ferrari is begonnen met het onderzoek naar de recente problemen met de versnellingsbak. Teambaas Maurizio Arrivabene is overtuigd dat zijn team voor de Grand Prix van Hongarije met een oplossing komt.

Zowel in Oostenrijk als Groot-Brittannië werd Sebastian Vettel vijf plaatsen teruggezet op de startgrid, omdat zijn versnellingsbak de geest had gegeven. Een korte analyse gaf als oorzaak dat een materiaalfout zit in een van de componenten van de versnellingsbak, maar om tot een oplossing te komen onderzoekt Ferrari het probleem grondig.

"Ik verwacht dat het te maken heeft met het materiaal en ik hoop dat het niets te maken heeft met de berekeningen," zegt Arrivabene in gesprek met crash.net over het onderzoek. "Het is de derde keer dat we dit probleem hebben en dat baart me zorgen. Het is iets dat we zo snel mogelijk op moeten lossen."

Tevens zegt Arrivabene dat Ferrari eerst de betrouwbaarheid van de bolide onder controle moet krijgen, voordat er updates geïntroduceerd worden. Daarmee hint de Italiaan wel dat er nog updates aan zitten te komen. Hoewel Ferrari al druk bezig is met de ontwikkeling van de auto's van 2017 en 2018, verwacht men wel dat Mercedes nog te achterhalen is in 2016.

"Op dit punt in het seizoen kan je geen geweldige update introduceren. Eerst moet je de problemen aan de auto oplossen, alvorens er gedacht kan worden aan een update," is de stellige overtuiging van Arrivabene. Het Formule 1-circus gaat nu verder naar de Hungaroring, waar Ferrari vorig jaar één van haar drie zeges pakte. De Scuderia hoopt de negatieve spiraal van Oostenrijk en Engeland om te kunnen draaien.

  Het is een Gear section issue , die deel van de 2016 versnellingsbak is van Firma Xtrac uit engeland , Ferrari heeft een van de smalste bak van de formule1 , Mercedes maakt ook gebruik van de Firma Xtrac , Haas , Sauber maken gebruik Ferrari 2015 versnellingsbakken en Toro Rosso heeft versnellingsbak redbull technology (renault) aangepast op de Ferrari 2015 blok dat is ook waarschijnlijk de str niet alles uit de ferrari 2015 motor kan uit halen.

Niks mis met Italiaans staal.
Maar zou het kunnen zijn dat de motor updates ten grondslag ligt aan de bak problemen? In het begin van het seizoen geen problemen gehad. Het motor vermogen wordt hoger en hoger en nu klapt de bak kapot. 1+1=2. Groeten van de beste stuurman ;-)

Ze moesten sneller en beter. Ze moesten voor overwinningen. Uiteindelijk te ver gepusht. Wat er niet in zit komt er ook niet uit. Helaas wil de top in het bedrijfsleven tegen beter weten in dit niet begrijpen. Ferrari was stabiel, daar is nu niet veel meer van over!

Ferrari heel veel updates uitgebracht aan de motor aan de aerodynamica maar geen updates aan de versnellingsbak.
en na de laatste update aan de motor kan de versnellingsbak de hoeveelheid hitte en spanning die van de motor afkomt gewoon niet aan.
ze zullen dus een compromis moeten zoeken of een nieuwe bak ontwikkelen die wel tegen de hitte en spanning kan

Haha ! Heerlijk die plaat voor de kop...
Mercedes halen never nooit meer in dit jaar, Denk dat ze zich beter kunnen druk maken om Red Bull.
