Massa kijkt uit naar weerzien met 'fantastische fans' in Hongarije

Voor Felipe Massa is de Grand Prix van Hongarije een beladen weekend. In 2009 had de Braziliaan een akelig ongeluk, toen een onderdeel van de Brawn-auto van Rubens Barrichello zijn landgenoot op de helm raakte.

Massa miste daarna het restant van het seizoen 2009 en keerde in 2010 pas terug. Aan zijn ongeluk in Hongarije heeft de Williams-coureur toch iets positiefs overgehouden. "Het is een circuit waar ik persoonlijk een hele geschiedenis mee heb door mijn ongeluk. Als gevolg daarvan heb ik daar geweldige fans die me goed ondersteunen, ze volgen me overal en hebben altijd cadeautjes voor me. Het is geweldig om daar terug te komen en tijd met ze door te brengen."

"Wat het circuit betreft is het een plaats waar je goede downforce nodig hebt met de korte rechte stukken en de hoeveelheid bochten die er zijn. Het is ook best zwaar voor de banden, dus als je goede downforce hebt werkt dat erg goed voor je op dit circuit. Al met al is het een fantastische race in een stad waar ik van hou."
