Sebastian Vettel wil snelheid in lange runs verbeteren

Sebastian Vettel had een hele behoorlijke eerste dag als Ferrari-coureur op de Hockenheimring. In beide vrije trainingen was de Duitser derde en het gat met Mercedes was niet schrikbarend groot, maar toch zal de Scuderia de snelheid in de lange runs moeten verbeteren om het Duitse team te kunnen verslaan in de race.

Na afloop van de vrije trainingen verklaarde Vettel: "Over een rondje is onze snelheid oké, maar van mijn lange run weet ik het nog niet. We reden het grootste deel van de training op de zachte band, wat de langzamere band is. Al met al was het oké, maar we moeten ons pakket nog steeds verbeteren."

"We proberen de snelste te zijn en we zagen dat Mercedes erg snel is. Ik probeer niet teveel te kijken. Ik luister naar de auto, naar waar we zijn. We proberen ons best te doen en vanaf daar proberen we ons te verbeteren. Het is uiteindelijk erg simpel: we willen winnen en we zijn hier gekomen om dat te proberen."

Niet persé, de ferrari is kennelijk niet goed genoeg. Vettel en Raikonen kunnen er puur op hun qualiteiten enkele snelle ronden uitpersen, maar dan moeten ze zich forceren, dat kun je niet een hele race volhouden. Mercedes en red bull hebben het hier makkelijker.

      Niet persé, de ferrari is kennelijk niet goed genoeg. Vettel en Raikonen kunnen er puur op hun qualiteiten enkele snelle ronden uitpersen, maar dan moeten ze zich forceren, dat kun je niet een hele race volhouden. Mercedes en red bull hebben het hier makkelijker.

    Iets meer snelheid betekend voor Ferrari eerder 3-4 plaats , Mercedes is onder normale omstandigheden te bij te benen.

      P3 en P4 is het maximale op dit moment helaas.
      Ik hoop wel dat Vettel en Raikonen eens een race niet zo gaan zeuren. Daar valt alvast wat te winnen.
      Ik ben zeker voor Ferrari, maar dat geneuzel over andere coureurs daar moeten ze mee stoppen.
