Ecclestone complimenteert Braziliaanse politie

Bernie Ecclestone is doorgaans niet al te complimenteus voor justitie, maar de Braziliaanse politie kan even niks meer verkeerd doen bij de commerciële baas van de Formule 1. De politie in Brazilië bevrijdde deze week de schoonmoeder van Ecclestone uit de handen van haar ontvoerders.

Ecclestone verklaarde aan Britse kranten: "Ik ben heel blij. De voorbije tien dagen waren niet leuk. Het is niet fijn als zoiets als dit je overkomt en je familie treft. De officieren van de politie die ons geholpen hebben waren fantastisch. Ze hebben geweldig werk geleverd. De dienstverlening was absoluut van topklasse."

De piloot van de helikopter van Ecclestone geldt als hoofdverdachte achter de ontvoering van Aperecida Schunck. Lees hier meer.
