De Amerikaanse coureur Bryan Clauson ligt in kritieke toestand in het ziekenhuis. Hij nam gisteren deel aan een midget race in Belleville, waar hij crashte. Clauson ging te wijd bij het inhalen van een achterligger, raakte de vangrails, sloeg over de kop en werd vervolgens geramd door een andere deelnemer. Hij is zwaargewond afgevoerd naar het ziekenhuis in Lincoln, Nebraska. Het wachten is nu op updates over zijn toestand.
