Zwakke plekken in kaart gebracht door Ferrari

Het team van Ferrari kreeg in de laatste races voor de zomerstop een spiegel voorgehouden. De Scuderia eindigde in de afgelopen drie Grands Prix niet op het podium en scoorde dertig punten minder dan concurrent Red Bull Racing. Daardoor zakte Ferrari naar een derde plaats.

Coureur Sebastian Vettel bekijkt het van de positieve kant. Deze periode leert Ferrari veel over de tekortkomingen. "We weten dat de voorbije races zwaar zijn geweest, maar ze waren ook nuttig. We hebben in kaart kunnen brengen wat de sterke punten en wat de zwakke plekken van de auto zijn. We weten waar we ons op moeten focussen. Dat was na de eerste races van het seizoen nog niet duidelijk, maar het is nu evident."

"Het is een harde manier om erachter te komen. We zijn niet zo competitief als we zouden willen, maar we weten wat we moeten doen. Dat is niet 1-2-3 gebeurd, dat kost tijd. Maar we hebben een plan opgesteld en de tweede seizoenshelft zou beter moeten verlopen. Dat is ook afhankelijk van wat de rest doet, maar we concentreren ons voorlopig op onszelf."

    Ik begrijp wel dat dit soort berichten naar buiten komen, maar ik kan er niet zoveel mee.

    We weten wat onze zwakke en sterke punten zijn.
    Volgend jaar staan we er beter voor.
    We hebben een plan.
    We moeten naar onszelf kijken.
    Het is nu duidelijk waar we moeten verbeteren.
    We hebben een zware, maar leerzame periode achter de rug.
    Als je hete soep eet, brand je je bek.

    Potverdikke man, volgend jaar is het 10 jaar geleden dat Ferrari de coureurstitel pakte en 9 jaar terug dat de constructeurstitel is gegrepen. Voor een team dat elk jaar minimaal één echte topper achter het stuur heeft, kan dat toch niet waar zijn.

    Ik zie één goede optie, en dat is Brawn koste wat kost terughalen. Zorg dat hij de vrije hand krijgt om het team naar zijn hand te zetten.

    Daarnaast had ik er toch voor gekozen een ander naast Vettel te zetten. Een Button of iets dergelijks. Iemand waarvan je zeker weet, dat als je een fatsoenlijke auto bouwt, hij structureel, veel punten scoort. Geen sores in het team, want Button is een echte gentleman. Raikkonen is me te wisselvallig en lijkt gewoon een stukje motivatie te missen.

    Anders in 2018 Hamilton of een zekere jongeman uit Nederland in die wagen proppen. Die zal Vettel het vuur aan de schenen leggen.

      Max moet daar pas heen als hij al een keer kampioen is.. De meeste die geen wereldkampioen zijn geworden bij Ferrari hebben daarna niet echt een geweldige toekomst meer gehad..

      Ondertussen staat Raikkonen toch gewoon voor Vettel in de tussenstand, dus of Button het echt zoveel beter had gedaan?

    Dat is niet zo moeilijk... Sergio Marchionne...
    En zijn onvermogen om nu Maurizio (en eerder Stefano) een kans te geven een degelijk team op te bouwen.. Maar nee, ik wil morgen een winst en als die er vorige race niet was, ben je twee weken te laat, dus koppen moeten rollen Arrivabene! Kijk maar hoe je het op lost!

    Ik hoop het voor ferrari maar ik betwijfel of het op tijd is . Het gehele.pakket moet iets beter. Of ze dat kunen waarmaken.met de huidige personeels wijzigingen betwijfel ik
