Stoffel Vandoorne heeft de wens om het ver te schoppen in de Formule 1. De Belg moet eerst nog een fulltime zitje zien te bemachtigen. Hij debuteerde eerder dit seizoen in Bahrein namens McLaren als vervanger van de geblesseerde Fernando Alonso. Dat smaakte naar meer. Vandoorne is ook een gegadigde voor een stoeltje bij McLaren voor 2017. De Belg sprak met Mobil 1 The Grid over zijn Formule 1-aspiraties.
