Ook Hülkenberg in de eerste training met 'halo'

Mercedes-coureur Nico Rosberg is niet de enige die morgenochtend de veelbesproken halo uitprobeert. Ook Force India-rijder Nico Hülkenberg zal in de eerste vrije training in België testen met het systeem om de hoofden van de coureurs beter te beschermen.

Auto Motor und Sport bericht dat Scuderia Toro Rosso eveneens in actie zal komen met een halo. De Italiaanse renstal heeft dat nog niet bevestigd. De teams en coureurs zijn benieuwd naar het zicht met de halo door een bocht als Eau Rouge.

Het is en blijft een spuuglelijk ding die Halo, het had ook het leven van Jules Bianchi niet gered..
Volgens mij is iedere coureur die in een open cockpit bolide stapt zich bewust van eventuele gevolgen díe een crash met zich meebrengt en dat is contractueel vastgelegd icm verzekering etc.
