Teams testen prototype Pirelli-banden in België

De Formule 1-teams krijgen vandaag voor de eerste twee vrije trainingen voor de Grand Prix van België de beschikking over twee extra setjes banden. Het zijn ongemarkeerde prototype banden van Pirelli. De bandenleverancier wil een aantal aanpassingen testen.

Pirelli heeft enkele veranderingen doorgevoerd om de stevigheid van de banden te verbeteren, zodat het rubber minder snel kapot gaat wanneer het meerdere keren in contact komt met de kerbstones of andere externe factoren.
