Twee DRS-zones op Monza voor GP Italië 2016

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft de details aangekondigd voor het gebruik van het Drag Reduction System tijdens de Grand Prix van Italië van komend weekend. Het circuit van Monza wordt uitgerust twee DRS-zones, met ieder een apart detectiepunt.

Het eerste meetpunt ligt op weg naar bocht 7, Lesmo 2, waarna de beweegbare achtervleugel op het rechte stuk richting de Variante Ascari te activeren is. Het tweede detectiepunt is geplaatst bij het aanremmen voor bocht 11, de Parabolica. De tweede DRS-zone begint net voorbij de start en finish-lijn en strekt zich uit richting bocht 1.
